White? Red wine? Just a small glass of happiness.
A doorway into another world. A brief escape from the trouble, from the job that drains you, from a system that doesn’t seem to work. Just stepping away from reality for a little while.

Yes… what else di you do to feel joy? Something that helps you relax for a moment, that allows you to laugh. Something simple. That`s what i hear lately: a glass of wine to stop thinking, to pause the overthinking for a while… a substance to make you feel cheerful. So that, for a moment, there is silence.

How to fill the silence?
It is easy to judge. To look at what someone else does to fill the empty feeling. But don’t we secretly all do this? Searching for joy and silence through alcohol, a bag of chips, a moment of distraction.
What if you didn`t numb the feeling, but faced it?
And saw where it comes from—what you are really missing… maybe love, the closeness of another person. Or space to truly experience the feeling, so that it is allowed to be there.
Imagine if we handled that feeling differently. If we sought God’s joy, His nearness, even in the discomfort. Yes, it may feel unfamiliar… but what will you choose? A substance, or the nearness of God?
